By focusing on demand management and process improvements with the third party logistics provider we were able to improve customer service from circa 30% to 95% (On Time In Full) in less than five weeks.

This £27bn global food and home care company sought our help to produce a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enable common reporting and benchmarking across the business. We produced a menu of standard and advanced KPIs covering Service, Quality, Flexibility, Cost and Social performance drivers. These have now been installed worldwide.

Global Supply Chain Transformation – Plumbing Distribution

Our client, a highly successful distributor and stockist of plumbing and heating materials purchase goods from the Far East, throughout Europe and locally in the UK. Following a Supply Chain Health Check, we provided support for the development of a Strategic Plan for the entire Supply Chain, achieving £1m (23%) savings in working capital and performance improvements. We supported implementation including the recruitment of key Purchasing and Quality staff and training for the Supply Chain team.

Competency Development, Assessment, & Recruitment – Various industries

Supply Chain Excellence have developed competencies and ran recruitment assessment centres for Supply Chain and Strategic Purchasing personnel for a number of organisations in many different industries. This is often followed up with 1:1 and team training for new recruits and existing staff.

Short Shelf Life Supply Chain Improvements into Retail – Dairy Industry

Undertook Supply Chain due diligence for MBO. Significant support for the Planning and Manufacturing team for implementing Key Performance Indicators and planning improvements for new structure.

Supply Chain Training – Global Cosmetics

Developed and presented a Supply Chain training programme in Belgium to a cross section of commercial managers drawn from sites across Europe. The programme included Supply Chain overview, planning, sourcing, logistics and stock management.

We always work closely with clients to ensure that training is relevant to their organisation and dovetails with other initiatives already in place.
